 JANUARY 2022 UPDATE

Fairs

This message conveys some bad news .....

The expected fair on Saturday 5th February will NOT be taking place as previously hoped.
The committee has decided, in the interests of the health and wellbeing of our members and attendees, that it is preferable to postpone the fair to allow the rate of new Covid cases to diminish.

and some very good news ........

The Medals, Militaria and Collectables Fair will now take place on Saturday 26th February at 11 a.m. in the Knox Memorial Hall. (An added side benefit is that this opening fair of 2022 will now not clash with the Ireland Six Nations Rugby coverage!)

The November fair was a resounding success and the society is continually grateful to the efforts of traders, members and visitors in their support and diligent adherence to Covid safety measures. Tables for the fairs are always quickly booked and it is recommended that early contact be made with Austin or Darrell to avoid disappointment. (They can be contacted through the MSOI website > Contact Us > Military Fairs Advisor or Secretary and Journal Advertising respectively)

Zoom

Another date for your diary is the evening of Monday 21st February when Zoom presentations will recommence with 2 guest speakers. Further details and links will be shared in advance of the event.

Anyone wishing to participate in future presentations or make recommendations and suggestions should get in touch with Michael, Austin and Darrell using email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
